We make this liqueur for Christmas and New Year’s Eve and it’s so much better than the usual eggnog! So here’s the recipe and enjoy!
- 800 g of sweetened condensed milk, you can also make it at home with this recipe
- 0,5 l of dark rum
- 1 tbsp of ground cinnamon (optional)

The Christmas liqueur is easy to make at home, you don’t need any culinary experience or many supplies as you can see. However, you need time although most of the time you don’t need to be at the stove.
How to make the Christmas Liqueur
If you don’t have condensed milk at home, make it with this recipe.
The container with the milk in a pot with water, the level of the water has to be at the milk level or higher. If you use the homemade condensed milk, use a container of double volume. Boil the water and keep it boiling for two hours adding water if necessary to cover the milk. After the two hours the milk will caramelize.
Put the caramelized milk in a bowl and add the rum. If you want, add the cinnamon and mix properly. Fill the bottle or bottles with the liqueur and drink preferably with family and friends!
